Unfolding hail net in an apple orchard.

10 June, 2021
After pollination is over, we move on to the next important step.
To protect the crop from adverse weather conditions we unfold a hail net.

Hail mechanically damages the fruit, and the apple tree itself. Cracks can be formed in the tree body (trunk) and can lead to diseases. The regeneration of branches and stems requires great effort from the plant, which ultimately leads to reduced yields. Modern technology helps to solve this problem. The whole territory of our garden is covered with a protective net. We unfold it using special platforms and a team of 12 people. After the harvest, we will fold them for wintertime, so they won’t be damaged by the snow. An anti-hail net system is an ecological solution that does not harm the environment. In addition to protection against atmospheric disturbances, the hail protection net is also an excellent solution for creating a harmonious garden microclimate by maintaining stable humidity.
